125a conrod
« on: October 31, 2013, 04:33:36 pm »
I tried in the wanted section without response so thought I would try here,

After a conrod kit for 1976 rm125a and the only one I found was this,,,

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Suzuki-RM-125-M-A-Motorcycle-Motorbike-Con-Rod-Kit-1975-1976-/400548387990?pt=AU_Clothing_Merchandise_Media&hash=item5d428b5c96

But my dimensions are not the same.

Any help appreciated. I just emailed trimacmachining and am awaiting a response.

cheers

Dont get sucked in by those ads that claim to fit multiple models, its all shit  >:(

Your rod is a one year only 16mm small end , i would go for the RM B model on rod , it fits many many models and  is widely available .

You will have to use RM 125 S or TM 125 or (TS /TF 125  with shortened skirt ) pistons and small ends but they are all much more available  :)

I have genuine NOS Suzuki one somewhere. It's not spoken for ATM although I think there's an A engine somewhere around as well.

Gudgeon pin for your bike will be 16mm , the other model rods are identical except for small end 14mm gudeon.

If he doesn't show one, just email him and he will check, that's how I got my last kit. They email back within a day   (ask a question).
