Gunnar Gasser throttle tube
« on: September 19, 2013, 11:38:23 am »
I'm looking for a genuine 'made in Sweden' Gunnar Gasser throttle tube. This morning I was replacing the Chinese ripoff Gasser on my DT1 with a genuine item but upon removing the grip on the genuine Gasser found the throttle tube to be cracked, probably from a crash. I could use the replica throttle tube but it's made from el cheapo inferior plastic that causes them to break across the  nipple slot, often jamming in the housing while on full throttle. It's happened to me twice now so I now won't use anything but genuine . I'll gladly take a whole throttle but it must have Made in Sweden cast into the body. I could buy one from overseas but I need it ASAP.
