What to do

I have received a letter from MAV today to renew my Senior National licence which I was planning to do, open the letter and the renew cost is now $290. now I am having second thoughts.
What to do????

its a sign of the times Dave, everyone is trying to make a last minute money grab before we turn into a banana republic...
I have a soft spot japanese mxers with aluminium tanks. Two stroke classic Dirt Track...

Dave how many times did you use it last year?
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

Harrow this year is the only time, and this sunday coming. I was going to Oz Titles in Canberra, but oz title this year wont happen.

I pay the $290 every year, it works out at $24 a month. I think I can afford it...
Only you knows if its worth it or not.

Depends on how often you race Dave. Harrow would of been a recreation licence as it isn't a race. That event only licence would of been $25.

A one event race licence is $55. Not sure about the cost of the event licence for the Nats.

If you're committed to doing every round of a race series, then a national licence does make financial sense.

For me this year it won`t happen, I am happy that its all going ahead, I have bought a National Licence each year, as you say, I need to use it more often, $290 it just seems a lot, if it goes well over the $300 price I will stop renewing it.
