I'm a bit over all of these Wheelsmith, DG, Fox and Mugen replica's. A replica is defined as......
rep·li·ca
[rep-li-kuh] noun
1:a copy or reproduction of a work of art produced by the maker of the original or under his or her supervision. 2. any close or exact copy or reproduction.
Calling a bike a replica just because its got a set of repro tank graphics and a snazzy paint job annoys the living shitter out of me and cheapens the appeal of the genuine article. At least the above seller hasn't used the R word in his description and he's pointed out that the forks are 43mm as opposed to the 44mm Fox items but how many punters know that? I don't think he's set out to deceive but he hasn't gone to a lot of trouble explaining that the bike's not the real deal either. Guilt by omission.
