KDX KX muffler or anything that will fit 83 KDX200

Need another muffler for my kdx200 project..am hoping for something kdx or kx but anything that will fit ok will do. Anything out there in VMX land?

austalian importer is John Titman Racing in QLD. you will have more chances of gettting one quickly from  Motoduro UK though

also look on ebay for used Answer mufflers/spark arrestors. they are often on ebay.

maybe this will fit with some light modifications

All very helpful but the shipping cost from the US on my budget is just a no go right now. This is not for a full blown resto but just a bit of a enduro hacker so was after something cheap and local.
The current muffler is totally rusted out and the PO has filled it up with gap filler...what a shocker!!!!!
So...still looking...

I don't know if it's an option but if you have access to a Mig or even oxy you could make one fairly easily. I just rigged one up out of an old grease gun case, some perforated sheet rolled up for the baffle, and some odds and ends of tubing.

from my experience by the time you add up the costs of  traveling to wreckers or phoning wreckers or getting some one to make one, it usually works out better to get this sort of stuff from USA, plus the exchange rate is so good at the moment. and i know one place in australia was selling those DG mufflers for over $200 plus then you gotta add on about $20 for interstate postage if needed. it starts to work out far cheaper to get it from overseas.

also when you buy stuff over the phone from a wrecker, you never know what you will get, and quite often you will end up with something broken or useless.
