Which bike would win most of the time with a wide range of riders and tracks?
1. 1987 Honda CR250
2. 1993 Honda CR250
3. 2001 Honda CR250
4. 2006-13 Yamaha YZ250

a 2013 ktm 300....
The older Honda's, although standout bikes of their time, don't compare to a 2013 YZ 250.

From the mid 80s MX bikes, exept for the 4t thing and Aluminuim frame (both of witch I'm not sold on), havent changed much but refinments in suspension and handleing put the moden YZ ontop. I own a 07 yz and they are a great bike.

The YZ, hands down.
I agree with your choices of years for the CR (esp the 87 & 93), but none of them go close to the versatility of the SSS equipped YZ250.
The fact that they still make YZs, but stopped making CRs years ago, says it all.
