Just slightly overpriced at 16.5k for a production bike, wonder how many of his bikes he actually sells at his listed prices

I know it's not right to pre judge people without ever meeting them or in this case ever having dealt with him but this blokes lists on Marks Swapmeet annoy the shit out of me. One slight but annoying trait is his penchant for describing the Brit bikes he sells as Bykes (always with a capital B)alluding that he has some sort of inside scoop as to the way bike is spelt in Britain and her colonies. Another annoyance are the following four listings that have been on the Swapmeet on a weekly basis for as long as I can remember, probably a year or more. You'd think that by not having sold them after all this time he'd realise that nobody wants to buy them at the extortionate  prices he's asking, a bit like the 16.5K he's asking for an 8k B44 Beeza. My old mate the late Vegas Bob, a well known wheeler dealer in US vintage circles told me to avoid dealing with this seller at all costs without me ever bothering to ask the reason. Sadly Bob's dead so I'll never know the real story.

There are more than just him listing bikes endlessly on the swap meet. There is a KX 80 on there for over 2 years now and It is very tidy but he just wants more than the market will pay.
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

I have made man a few serious offers on his bikes and he generally pretty rude in his replies...that an 8k tops bike on its best day....you could of had a weslake bsa for half the price and the weslake is rare as shit and twice the bike this particular one is in my opinion.....dreamer !

For it to be the real deal it would need the self centring front brake plate' low front mud guard the side panels held on with BSA dzus fasteners not cable ties & I bet the list could be longer.

He's got this B44 BYKE on the Swapmeet this morning. The price is a tad more realistic than his GPB44, in fact it looks to be a pretty original Victor round barrel that'd make a great racer...[/i]

The seller's offered a good opportunity to visually compare the B44 Victor to the more pukka B44 Victor GP. The main difference is the frames. the GP has a built in 'oil in frame' top rail while the normal Victor uses an oil tank. The seat and tank differ as well but most other things are the same or so similar it makes bugger-all difference. One thing for sure, I know which byke I'd be spending my self funded retirement money on, the cheap one ;).
