Absolutely Graeme...This is a bargain for a virgin, unrestored DT2MX. These gorgeous bikes were the first Yamaha production motocrosser not based on the trail bike and are becoming quite the collectable for those not wanting to spend the silly money YZ250-A's are going for. If the YZ-A' care equivalent is s a Falcon XYGT, the DT2MX's is an XTGT, cheaper but just as important in the whole scheme of things. I heard yesterday on ABC radio that the 80c dollar exchange isn't far away so if you want a bike from the USA now's probably the time.
1972 Yamaha DT2-MX - All original, not restored. I went thru the motor completely, has a fresh bore and 1st over Yamaha (OEM) piston. Hasn't been started since I went thru motor. The motor is definitely fresh. $1900 Located in southern MI, please call if you have any questions.
