Forget those plasticwerks side covers, I tried everything trying to contact that guy with no luck. Pity because they look the business. I think Maier is your best shot, although DC will make IT side covers in White if you need more options.

Instead of relocating the tank mounts higher, space the rubber block and saddle loop lower with a block of plastic or rubber and longer screws.

What I meant was to just grind off the rubber support bracket on the top of the frame. Then the tank will just fall into place for the bolts.
An IT tank can still be re-mounted after, even with this bracket removed.
I never said relocate the tank mounts higher.

Just looking at the pics GT. I see what you mean about the front tank rest pad bracket, chop that off and all there is to do is space out the distance between the frame mounts and the tank mounts ;).

yeah, they should have sold the K with red frames and white shrouds.   "Zack"

Agreed Zack.
Selling the K !  Are you looking for something else or need the money ?

i want to sell the YZ because i've also got an IT250J, the IT is fine to ride vmx and it's also road rego'd so i can do enduros, plus i have 17" rims to road ride too.
even though the YZ250K is faster and handles the bumps better than the IT, i can only ride one of them and usually i'll ride the IT.

I can see your point Zakk.
And those IT's are good strong simple bikes to.

I guess your bike would resemble this pic ... ?

When I bought my YZ250K I realized after that I wished it were an aircooled motor, to not have to worry about radiators, power-valves and water-cooling.
