TS250 Piston
« on: August 01, 2007, 04:47:54 am »
Hi my mate is doing a top end job on his 1979 TS 250. He wants to rebore beyond 1.0mm O/S and we found a source for +1.5 & 2.0 pistons but they're for "1977/78 B and C models". They don't any list for 1979 model. Were there any differences in pistons across those years or between C & ER variants?  According to frame no. his is a late 79 but resembles a C not ER- slimmer tank, side panels etc. Thanks in advance. ;)

The "N" model  was pretty much a C  or an A model cept for cosmetics so all mechanicals  should interchange.

B, C , N, ER-N, ER-T, ER-X, ER-Z are all the same as far as im aware. stick a wiseco one in it. ive got a Wiseco for my TS 250 and its for all yrs. they go up to +2mm. i put a Wiseco +2 in my 185 and am very happy with it. its very quiet. make sure you have someone good doing your rebore.
Wanted - 1978 TS185 frame or frame&motor. Frame # TS1852-24007 up to TS1852-39022
