One of my first doer upperers was a TS90, scored shitloads of NOS, cheap as, from mayfair suzuki when they used to be at Deshon st Buranda. Bought it for 3000 cents parked behind the servo at Jimboomba, just needed a coil to go. Dont remember anything about the "honcho" bit though. Anyways I resprayed the engine cases with Dulux Silver Sheen enamel (has a dull aluminium look) very similar to original I thought. Mine was red with a white stripe and cross chequered flags beneath the CCI emblem on the side cover(oil tank cover). Great looking bike, but met its fate when I burnt the piston in the pursuit for more power, before I realised the consequences of fooling with the needle jet. moved on to bigger bikes soon afterward and sold the TS on to the next bloke for the same price as i bought it for. i would love to think that it was still alive out there somewhere, sniff. Good luck with the resto anyways, when and where is CD6?
