Husky Auto basketcase on Swapmeet.
« on: June 17, 2013, 11:34:13 am »

I had one of these sweeties back in the day and wish I still had it today. This one has been tricked up a bit but it seems pretty complete. It needs a ground up resto but that's what we do anyway, isn't it? ::) It'd owe you about $2500 landed here, not a bad price for one of Husqvarnas rarest and best. Parts are still around according to Husky Pete who's got one of these in showroom condition.

He's another one, bit cheaper at less than $1500 landed and is already in California, but also less desirable

Just a wee bit cheaper than the 360/390 ;D. I missed that one this morning, it mustn't have been up when I looked at 6AM. Buy it and his '79 390 for the same price and you've got $300 worth of project fun. The Ohlins alone are worth the price.
I have a lingering feeling that I've had dealings with this guy before, the "I do not answer emails" rings a bell. If it's the same guy I'm thinking of the transaction was a bit of a drama.....but it may have been someone else ::). It's worth an International phone call to find out.

Good work Michael.....I can't believe how cheap they were ::). There are definitely some bargains out there right now but that's the deal of the month.

The proper CR MX auto models are the most desirable , The enduro models were only just behind a bit in suspension.
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle
