Wow you guys have all the answers, glad I asked here it seems like about the only place someone will answer inquirys.
I see what J.C means about the rear loop and looking like a MK10 but the serial # according to the seller is 167.01.---- which is definately a 76 MK9 250 as far as I can tell.
The motor is the same number as the frame which also is a 250 MK9 but supposedly had 2 plugs in the cylinder head, like Moto said they never had 2 plugs in a 250 only the 370's.
I guess I will know more when I get the bike in about 1 1/2 weeks
This week is starting to cost me way too much as I was going to put my CZ rebuild on hold but found a deal on a 380 motor that I was looking for for quite awhile. Then I found a 74 1/2 Maico that I have also wanted for a long time as that is what I always rode in the 70s.
I guess I better get to work building cabinets and furniture so I can afford all these toys.

Well got the bike a couple months ago and cleaned all the rust off the pipe and replaced all the rotten rubber parts, respoked the front wheel and painted the panels and tank.
Finished it up the other day and fired it up on the 3rd kick.
Here is the finished product.

Don't miss the opportunity. They're a great model too, even if a bit tall. Really sweet handling. Steer better than the Mk9s & 10s. Could do w larger dia forks tho (35mm std)

Great job would love a 9 with an 8 or 10 swingarm, such a good bike and I have the photo to prove that feet up, wheel up slide.

Thanks for the compliments guys. This one was a pretty easy restoration compared to the CZ I am doing, which should be finished within the next couple of weeks and i will posts before and after pics of it.
GWC make me an offer and it could be yours, pretty much everything is new on it.
