Rickman Zundapp Shocks
« on: June 10, 2015, 06:55:43 pm »
Hi guys, i'm in the process of restoring a '73 Rickman Zundapp and am trying to decide what rear shocks to run. Originally they were 13" Girling single springs. Does anyone have suggestions on a good allrounder shock that won't break the bank? The bike is to be used on trails and also for some vmx, but my skills aren't A-grade yet ;) Cheers, Blake

A while back I got a set of NJB shocks out of Engerland, they seemed to be pretty good and were good value at the time, maybe $200 to $250 delivered. $ was stronger then though.

I think Norman that makes them was ex Girling, he matches springs etc to your weight.

Can recommend NJB shocks, I have them on my AJS and they are fine. Good, budget shocks and Norman will sort out the springs to your weight.
