Jorge wasn't a happy camper, but this was always going to happen. Marquez has shown little in the way of respect for reputations. It's a racing incident with 50/50 aportioned blame, Lorenzo shouldn't have left the dorr open and Marquez shouldn't have used Jorge asa berm.
Let the war of words begin, but while we all like the drama, in 2011 Lorenzo came out with some prophetic words aimed at a fellow competitor who made the flippant response "I will be arrest". Lorenzo launched into a sermon that MotoGP bikes were to be treated with a bit of respect as there can be dire consequences travelling at 200mph if it goes wrong.

Thats right Lozza,
I think Marquez is doing a fine job seemingly the best rookie of late. Its hard to compare it to simmo. But it all makes you wonder, am i correct in saying that rookies were not allowed to be on the top rides for thier first year when simmo came across to moto. SO i wonder how simmo would have went on a premium bike.

You're correct on the rookies weren't allowed on factory bikes, the rule was dropped for Marquez though.

There was several factors that caused the dropping of the 'Ben Spies' rookie rule. First is whatever team Marquez was going to ride for he would have stipulated he was coming with his crew and sponsors. The 2 satellite HRC teams (LCR and Gresini) have long standing arrangements with other oil and energy drink companies, taking on Marquez would have meant severing those ties and getting rid of long standing team members. Cechinello or Gresini would not do that even though they would love Marquez to ride for them. When Stoner retired there was a vacant factory seat, and Maruez has shown he deserved it.
That said any accusation that Dorn makes rules according to which way the wind blows and who complains most can not be harsh enough.

Not sure why, but he reminds me more of Mick Doohan than of Casey Stoner. Or how about this equation: Stoner’s talent + Marco Simoncelli’s aggression = Marc Márquez.
