Pre85MXWA Grand Opening Hillman Park Track - Darkan WA 12/05/13

The Pre85MXWA Club is pleased to announce the grand opening of the Hillman Park Motocross track on the 12th of May.

The track and complex has just received a massive makeover thanks to dedicated club members and locals who, with a great range of skills and resources between them have created a track worthy of all eras of Vintage MX competition, even incorporating 1/2km of natural terrain.

On the day AMA Hall of Fame inductee Jimmy Ellis will be there on the  Busselton Motorcycles YZ465 to show us how it’s done once again.

The schedule for the day is:

•   6:30 am – Mothers Day Breakfast
•   7:00am – Sign On
•   8:00am – Riders Brief
•   8:30am – Official Track Opening
•   9:15am – Members lap led by Jimmy Ellis
•   9:30am – Riding commences

All eras of Vintage MX bikes are welcome Pre90, Pre85, Pre78 & Pre75. As the day will be run on a Go Moto format then there will be classes to suit all riders. It will be a great day.

The Pre85MXWA Club is also introducing a juniors class this season and it will be up and running for the Grand Opening of the Hillman Park track. Juniors don't have to ride a Pre90 bike, but it would be great to have a few period bikes circulating if possible! Please contact Paul on Mob: 0407369930 if you're looking to bring a junior or two along. NB: To allow your junior to ride the parent or guardian must be an active member of Pre85MXWA, riding any bike built prior to December 1989.
