Will become an interesting piece of history for sure, if i had a bigger cheque book i'd happily put an offer in on such an exotic piece as this. Sure it'll become remembered for all the wrong reasons but it'll be remembered none the less.  ;)
THE SEXMAX.....coming soon to an Evo race near you!!! Lining up right along side the soon to be released TEDMAX!!!

Same as a cr450 '81 model. Made the top ten worst bikes of all time but collectible. I'd own that in a heart beat.

Don't agree at all Ted. This is an absolute future classic. IMO. I wish I had one like this in the shed.

Said it before but that bike was 10 years ahead of it's time. Just a pity Cannondale didn't have pockets deep enough to iron the bugs out before it hit the show room. Bargain

The Cannondale is a way better investment than any super scheme I've seen lately Ted. It's a pity the Cannondale tanked as they were a decade ahead of the market and as the bloke says, will still smoke a modern motocrosser. I have a friend in the US with three of them and he swears his 440MX is almost as quick as his 530 KTM and is way nicer to ride. If I was young enough to warrant owning a 10 year investment I'd own this bike in a flash.

Thanks Ted but by my own admission i would be a bad risk  :-[ as far as financial planning goes im 50 going on 15  ;D id spend it all on more VMX bikes , no Cannondale but a lifetime season ticket to Connondale, partying , new shed , a wedding , honeymoon to take in a few GPs , a couple of AMA rds and i would probably squander the rest  ;D

And Joans right of course its the pacific peso over here  ::) currently worth slightly less than a piece of used chewing gum  ;D
