Big new multi-pupose race circuit at Barleigh?

Anyone else read in that freebie bike mag you get at bike dealers about the development plan lodged to turn Barleigh Ranch into a massive complex complete with full on road race circuit, quarter mile drag track, speedway and mx?  Let's hope its a goer, looks ripper.

Couldn't believe when I saw the plan view of it in the mag....and spotted it was just off our very own 'Italia Road' that we came to know and love so well not long ago....

That is actually the "RINGWOOD PARK MOTORSPORT COMPLEX" it is situated at the entrance road as you come into the MX Central entry road.
A lot of the local car clubs have been pushing to have this for at least the last ten years and the MG Car Club currently have a Hill Climb Circuit there.
We have all been writing to the council and they have jumped through all the hoops, hopefully this time with some success.

Threatened species? I'm thinking the low life prick who stole the Husky came close to extinction...

yeah, vmx247, funny thing, the article mentioned mx as one of the disciplines it would cater to, but i couldn't see the mx track on the plan.  which is funny, as the plan did include the dirt track, which i presume is the one in the showground near the mx track we rode round at cd5.  so not sure what the go is there.
