Triumph engine
« on: April 20, 2013, 09:30:16 am »
I am on the look out for a Triumph pre unit 500 engine if anyone can point me in the right direction. Not something I'm familiar with so any help appreciated. Can be good condition or basket case.
Cheers,
K

Try Norm on -:
                  SOVEREIGN CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE
4 CASSIA PLACE
MACQUARIE FIELDS NSW 2564
Phone: 02 9605 3097

He wont answer over the weekend but should be able to steer you in the right direction, he's helped me out on numerous occasions.

Mike

"try your local tip"
I have had a few motorcycle engine discarded at the "tip" I run, but no Triumph 500's yet. (yes I have had a 250 C11? something or other and a T150 triple bottom end dropped off..) Tim754
If anything pops up K I am just down at Goornong transfer so will gives you a ring.

Cheers guys. As I said I know next to zero about them but have been asked to keep a lookout for one by a close friend. Much appreciated.

Thanks Paul but it has to be a 500. The bigger ones are quite easy to find, the 500 not so much.
Cheers,
K
