Mark, didn't Ake's bike have a Husky front wheel in it..??...
Brian, that's the first I heard about Ake using a Husky brake..As you can see below, his '72 Trana-AMA bike had the stock Maico hub as does the GP bike going by the period pit photo. There's a possibility the Maico hubs may have been magnesium but I've never seen a period works Maico with Husky hub. Willi Bauer used a Yamaha hub briefly but it disappeared after a couple of rounds, probably on orders from Otto Maisch who hated seeing non Maico parts on the factory bikes.http://www.vintageworksbikes.com/1972Maico.html

All I need is a lotto win and this beauty would be on its way to NZud:

http://www.vintageworksbikes.com/1982SuzukiRN.html

How much do they want for it  ???

I contacted the person yesterday regarding this RN500.
Here's the response :

"Hello Gavin
The bike is located in Holland and the owner is asking 60.000 euro.
Clay"

I think this equates to about $75,000 au.

Unfortunately I would need a Lotto win myself. :'(

The Husky front brake is mentioned in VMX (Issue 45, p23) and refers to that article, should have mentioned that earlier I suppose.
