PDI & T&M swingarm pivot
« on: June 24, 2015, 08:20:48 pm »
Has anyone got any specific details (dimensions, photos) of what was originally used on these? I have a PDI but it has not been machined for bushings/bearings yet and was supplied with none and i would like to know what they originally were machined out to since its cast alloy my mind is telling me i need to make sure a safe wall thickness is left. At the moment the OD is about 33.50 and ID 18.75. The literature i have says they used bushings that give the "rigidity of needle bearings and will last longer than bronze bushings" There are no grease nipples fitted on each side either. I know a few guys here have these swingarms so i am interested to know how they are set up. Thanks
