And Then There Were Two!
« on: May 15, 2008, 09:18:46 pm »
My father decided he wanted one. I think she's a ripper! Only things missing are the carby and the L.H footpeg. So if anyone has a spare, i would gladly purchase from you.
Can anyone also tell me the correct colour of yellow it is please?
Its a 380 and the i.d plate says it was manufactured in '71. Does this make it a '72 model? Is it a follow on bike or does it have to race pre '75?
Cheers

Brad...It's a pre '75. The pre 70 bikes were the side pipers which are different in a number of ways. The '71 380 is equally as fast as a '74 and most of the differences are purely cosmetic. Cool find. I've just picked up a basket case incomplete  '73 250 CZ myself and I'll post some photos when it arrives.

Tell me that seat has been recovered :o.

Great find, where did ya get it?

A lot of TLC needed there, but fall of promise and lots of fun and new friends. I would imagine a mikuni would be the go.

090 did you ever get the postal money order for the preston petty guards? I checked with local post office and was requested to ask you as it appears not to have been cashed? Tim
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Thanks firko for that. If you have a spare LH footpeg that you are willing to sell this beast needs one.
Yes Brent, it came from Curley in Darwin. He has been culing his stable and the majority seem to have found mine ::).
MX250, yes it is a new seat including base and foam. I must ask Curley who did the work on it as it is top shelf!
I will pay that post gotnobuddy!
Tim, i will pm you.
Cheers, Brad
