I've got a rough but almost complete GT80 for sale if somebody wants to build a counterfeit YZ80-A. It's in storage so I'll pull it out and run some photos off and put 'em up later in the week.

Talking bike values on this forum is always good for a hoot and a hollar from those who our outraged by high prices, and those who are paying the realistic cost of having to do up an old bike.  ::)

Mini bike values are always weird, all it takes is one guy on nostalgia trip for the bike he 'started on' and there you have it.

Not surprised if there are a LOT more MC490s, YZAs and many others in Aussie and NZ. Something to do with a lot being imported from the USA where there were a lot more in the first place. With the MC490 you can buy a brand new frame kit out of Wulfsport UK so plenty of scope there for building your own better than new replica MC490 from the parts bin.

must admit I was thiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssss close to buying a YZ80C when I was a kid but went onto 125's instead - I often am tempted by some I see for sale just for that "when I was a kid" feeling!

I think most VMX purchases  are strongly related to the "when I was a kid feeling"

My current DR400 fetish is related to Shane Hunt (local fast guy) having one back in the day when I could barely afford the TS125 I was riding.
