rare Carabela short tracker on vft.org

Here's one for the collector....How often does a #1 numbered bike come along for 3k?....and a rare one at that. This is the type of thing Jonesy would buy in one of his bored moments but his dance card is full right now. He's already got a Carabela speedway bike anyway.

Rare 1979 Carabela 125 Factory Short Track race bike, motor is serial #1! This bike is similar to the one featured in Dan's museum display, except this one is push start only, no provision for a kickstarter. Carlisle tires, right or left hand shift, drum rear brake, spool front wheel. The museum bike was not ridden, this one has run. We took the head off, and photographed the cylinder and piston as good as a no-brainer camera would allow before buttoning it back up. Great office or man-cave decoration! This bike has been on display in a dealership for the last 12 years. Frame number 79 A-MX111-000110 , engine serial number AV-T-0001-MX4 . Time to sell, need the room for other things! $3000 o.b.o. Interesting trades always considered! Delivery to AZ. possible in March, or TX. in April. Bike is in Roswell, New Mexico.
