MK9 & MK10 cylinder head

Are they the same head and can you use the 1977 mk10 on the 1976 mk9

I will check on the weekend Maurice ,but I dont think so. The Mk9 was the last of the old style cylinders and I am pretty sure that from the Mk 10 onwards(till the end) used a different sealing system and locating pins etc.

Maurice,I checked the heads today and the Mk9 & Mk10 heads appear to be the same(on the 370's I have).The heads/cylinders changed on the Mk 11 models.

Thanks Moto... I am going to have to wait untill I receive the bike in about 1 1/2 weeks as I still don't understand why he said the 250 had 2 plugs in it
