........I think the ones we got out here had very brittle "unbreakable plastic " ones, but I'm after either fibreglass or replica shape modern plastic ones.....preferably fibreglass so that I can paint them ;D

Try Bultaco parts Australia or Don Newell in Qld or Hughes in the states. There is also Frankie in Spain but his prices are nearly as bad as Didgit Dave. J
