Just proves to me that I never had (and will never have) what it takes to be one of the 'greats'.

And I'm glad...........  ;)

That is one amazing production - I'm so glad I watched it.  Talk about insights into what life for the top level racers is like.  And perhaps more importantly, what its like for the whole family unit.  Full points to the Villo family for participating and opening up like they did, and go back over all the stages of his life for the camera, including the years when their family went off the rails.  And for that reason, I'm sure CR could do one very similar.

We only get to see them largely with helmet on, hurtling round a racetrack or on the podium.  That reveals nothing about their life in its entirety.  All in all, I'm amazed the shit that can and must go thru their heads about everything doesn't punt them off the track all the freakin time - it would me I'm sure.

RV's results over the last six years or so show he can put all that to one side for the singular purpose of achieving the goal of being the best - incredible.

Thanks for the link. Really enjoyed the program. It is scary how much effort goes into top level MX. They are absolute freaks. Respect  8) 8) 8)
