CR125
« on: January 07, 2013, 11:17:30 pm »
I need some help from the Honda Table of Knowledge. I've been offered a '75 CR125 (plated 10/74) that is in fair condition. It's pretty much all there but needs a complete rebuild. It's had a forward shock conversion done but all the original brackets are still there so it is an easy fix to get it back to standard. The only worry is that I should have had a close look at the welding on the additional tubes, which I didn't think to at the time, as it would be cause for concern with a chrome moly frame if it hasn't been done correctly.

I'm sure this has been answered before, but are these a follow-on model for pre 75? The asking price is $700, which doesn't seem unreasonable.

Pete.

Barrel is the same as some 1974 RS125 or optional part or something.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
