Suzuki part numbers 62623-14203 & 62623-14204
« on: December 27, 2012, 02:36:55 pm »
Hi Gents,

LOOKING for this part number, both supercede to 62623-16700, do any of you have one/some you wish to sell before i go hunting overseas? (tube spacer for main bellcrank bearings in RM '81-83, I NEED two of them).

I also have a problem with bent bellcrank, anyone ever tried to straighten one with success?

Cheers,
Kt

P/n's still available in the U.S, and still on masterfile here as well. Very little difference in price, $67 from U.S., $73 in Au. Thats according to Alpha sports and Boltons websites anyhoo.

Thanks 311, i hoped you'd chime in, i'll try Boltons and Mick Hone, the local Suzy dealer here in Penrith reckon NLA and Alpha Sports say they are on back order with Suzuki U.S but will eventually come back into stock.

HAVE YOU STRUCK the bellcrank problem i have found, if you lay it on its back or front, push one pivot point down onto your hard flat surface and one is touching around 3mm in front of the other (the strut end)?

Damn but youre unlucky! its a bloody strong piece, and must have had a hell of a whack -or a stuffed shock- to bend it like that. i will check some of my friends to see if they have one which i reckon they will

Hey Mr Armada! glad  you dropped in, meant to ring you today and say THANKYOU again for that wheel, Rob's a nice bloke by the way!
And of course you are right, i really should have bought it, my "Mrs" was twisting my arm but i resisted ( i kid you not!) last time she did that i ended up with an RM465 AND 500 in the same month!!

Thanks 311, i might be needing one if cant fix this one, i think it might almost be easier to just make an adjustable strut to allow for the difference, i have seen a couple of other z and d bellcranks yesterday, all similar to mine, i am wondering if they were made wrong OR bend more easily than we think! Mis-alignment kills the bearings, you dont feel much else, it doesnt bind or anything, from what i am finding they wear the left hand strut bearing and also the left bell crank bearing faster than the right hand side, have you found similar?????
