Rossi VMX boots- free to good home !!!
« on: December 15, 2012, 09:05:19 pm »
Rossi Boots- three pairs !!  :)  Classic Rossis to go with your open face and goggles at CD11 !
There are no sizes on them, but I'd say close to 44, 43 and 42.  All well-used, but quite useable, if that's what you're into......
They are free to whoever wants to come and get them, but there are conditions attached:
1.  Take one, take all !
2.  Must come and get them a.s.a.p. from me here in the Blue Mountains- Springwood area- i.e. in the next week or so or they go in the big bin !!  Don't ask me to post them unless you want to make it worth my while to go to the trouble !!   ;D
Cheers,

No worries Firko.  Maybe we need to form a counselling/support group for all the ex-Rossi wearers who have clapped-out buckle-ups in the shed, but can't bring themselves to toss them in the bin !  ;D So many memories attached to those boots !!   :'( :'(  However did our ankles survive !!

Cheers,

Martin

Unfortunately mine didn't Martin ::). The ankle fusion surgery I underwent in January was the direct result of an accident in 1982 while riding my 490 Maico in the Watagans. I ran over a tree branch  which was thrown back by the front wheel, hitting my ankle directly on the stitching join on the Rossi boots, impaling my right ankle with a direct hit. It cost me 3 months off work, three operations and, years later severe arthritic calcium build up on the ankle joint causing shitloads of pain and the need for the ankle fusion. The sad irony was that my usual Sidi boots had been stolen out of my ute at the gas station on the way home from the previous ride and I was wearing an old pair of Rossis I'd dug out of the shed. The boots I'm offering aren't the same boots I wore in the accident, the right one was cut off at the hospital and I ditched the lefty.
