Greg Ball Engineering - Great Service
« on: November 17, 2012, 01:29:31 pm »
I have been meaning to let the VMX community know about an excellent experience I had with Greg Ball engineering at Kirrawee in the South of Sydney. A mate of mine recommended I go to him to help sort out my Honda CR250RE (The Steam Train). Greg did the skimming, rebore and stud replacement for me for a fair price. After still experiencing problems, when I went back to him to re-check the motor, even though it was probably a blocked radiator which caused the problem, Greg offered to re skim the now rewarped head and skim the cylinder for nothing to help me resolve the issue. He didn't need to do that and I appreciate a bit of old fashioned Good Service. Greg is an old dirt biker from back in the day. I guess that could have something to do with it.

Mate I've been going to GB for sometime, in the 90's for jetski's and he made a new sleeve for my RM500. It's family owned and run, he's raced against and knows alot of the legends, MX, dirt track you name it he's played in it. Just a great all round bloke ;D
