My lingering memory of Hungry Creek was of squillions of flies. Eating used to be a pretty hazardous operation as the flies would be racing you to get a chunk of your food before you'd get it in your mouth. Sadly (for you and the flies) many of the little buggers would also get eaten as a result of their kamikazi attacks.

yep, crashed my brains out on that wooden bridge; was a slippery as shit when the morning dew was on it.
