If you are building a 75/76 YZ to race next season or for display- you NEED this shock! This is a never used Reeder GASpring modified Monoshock for 1st generation Yamaha MX & YZ bikes from 1975-76. It was only mounted for display for a couple weeks and then I decided it was too nice to ride the bike with it on there! It has been in storage standing upright in my shop for a couple years now, but I will never use it and my Paypal account is hungry.

A little history: I found a NOS GASpring still in the box with manual and sticker and took it along with a standard YZ shock to DeWayne Jones to build it up. He serviced the monoshock unit with all new seals, O-Rings, oil, charge, etc. and then he did the conversion to the GASpring unit. It also has 2 NOS Yamaha Rubber dampers which are rare and pricey. Like I said, I never rode on it so it is basically a new refurbished shock. There are no pits or shaft damage and no oil leaks or weeping. Having said that, you WILL need to add/adjust the pressure in the GASpring unit to suit your own tastes and it wouldn't hurt to check the Nitrogen charge in the main unit as well.

I will include the GASpring box, manual (copy) and sticker. $400.00 or make reasonable offer. Paypal only.

Always looking for 1977-79 YZ125 project bikes, rollers, parts bikes & stashes...

Thanks

I think I have one of these Firko - came with my YZ - just need to get it serviced as it won't hold pressure.  :o

It's only a gas pressurised bladder to replace the spring, you're still using the stock shock..
