Fox Replica?

I see a lot of these for sale and it drives me nuts.  It's a RM125B with a bondo-ed tank, painted in the Moto-X Fox colors.

Sell it as a 1977 RM125 (My favorite bike in the world!) with a Moto-X Fox tank, but it is not a Moto-X Fox RM125B Replica.  The shocks might be 17.5, but the ad doesn't say.  No Thor swingarm, Fox head, Fox pipe, Fox silencer, white side-panels, Sun rims, Mototek ignition, Simons forks or Tony D fender.

We each put our personal touches on our bikes and to each his own, but why misrepresent your bike when selling it?

It's not a Thor swingarm, but it's the one I'm looking for my RM A :P

I couldn't agree more Red. A sticker doesn't make a replica. Another example is the number of Wheelsmith Maicos out there. I've got a fair bit of Wheelsmith stuff on my square barrel but I'd never ever call it a Wheelsmith Maico or even a replica Wheelsmith Maico. It seems that all you have to do is fit a Maicos Only Wheelsmith pipe, drill some holes in your airbox and bung on a wheelsmith sticker and it instantly transforms into a Wheelsmith Maico.
Jeez, give us a break  ::)   Here's serial offender Arizona Mike's latest Wheelsmith "works" bike..http://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Maico-MC-250-AW-WHEELSMITH-Vintage-MX-MotoCross-Enduro-Adolph-Weil-/170929246773?hash=item27cc2d5235&item=170929246773&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

The sad thing about the "FOX" RM is that it's an otherwise clean little bike that would make someone a nice racer but this clown is going to part it out if it doesn't sell, which to me is kind of sad.
