This one hurts to sell, but some idiot has decided he wants a new modern (and something about breaking eggs and omlettes)...

Very good, very original 1988 KX250.

Has done about 6 hours in my ownership, and clearly not many before then - I'd estimate somewhere about 30 hours from new, definitely less than 50.

Still feels tight, everything works properly
Runs beautifully - pulled the holeshot in the Magoo Memorial at this year's MrVMX against all sorts of good riders
Took my tubby arse to second in class in this year's Retro MX series.

Non-original parts:
Good alloy bars.
Grips.
Muffler packing.
Tyres (excellent Michy MH3 front, good S12 rear).
Chain and sprockets (in VGC).
Footpegs (has later, wider KX pegs fitted - originals included in the sale).
Air-filter.
Water-pump seal.
Gearbox oil and coolant.
The occasional bolt - but I'll do my best to fix that before selling the bike.
Fuel cap. I bought a new genuine one for another bike, but figured this bike deserved the newie.

Yes, it even still has the original fork boots (which were shit when they were new).

$3500 or make a sensible offer. I will supply a new front number-plate with the sale (sorry, I forgot about that damage).

That's the one Shaun!

Photos are all as it came out of the shed - not drowned in silicone spray or any of that... ;)

Note the missing knob - there's about six in total like that.

For what it is worth I have ridden this bike twice and it is awesome!!! Way too good for Nathan to own!!!!

Sorry for the "missing knobs", or at least some of them.....like how I had to apologise for the "Missing Knob" at Mr VMX ...hahahaha!!!   :D

I would concur on the hours on the bike...very low for what the age it is.....and if I wasn't committed to the "500 gang" it would have been mine!!
