KX 86-87 Seat Foam

Been waiting to see a good seat foam become available for these models......

I was surprised to see a new one (reproduction) turn up on eBay with the text that it was from "The Seat Factory"....
It looks like the DC Plastics listed one, or at least the same manufacturer as the '85 listing on the DC site..

The eBay seller may be OK to deal with, but has any one a link to the "Seat Factory" directly ... or found a site listing the 86-878 seat foam?

I tried searching too Marty - No luck. 

Have you tried sending the ebay seller "seatfactory" an email asking about the 86-87?

I just sent him an email requesting an 83 KX250 seat foam. We'll see how it goes.

Thanks for solving my problem Hardo....I went looking for your seat foam on DC's website and found the one listed for the '86-'87 there.

I was sure I looked before... but hey there it is...

Good luck with the '83 KX .. I think it is the same as the KDX foam from '83...at least I used the 83 KX cover for my 250.  I think the front is a bit shorter for the KDX...

Well... looks like "Seat Factory" is out for me ...  this was their reply:

" There has not been a huge demand for that model. The tooling to reproduce a seat is so expensive, that there would have to be a bigger demand.
