Try Les at VMX unlimited. He has a plastic seat base that will do the job. You will have to make or supply the brackets to mount the seat.

Hmmm.....I perked up at the mention of TM250.  I've keen to lighten my '69 TS250 seat (steel), and heard an ok replacement is an early RM plastic seat/seat base.  Anyone got any advice on that?

the early RM seats on the '69 TS fit quite nicely but as always you'll have to fabricate some mounts ;)
