i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on front tyre choice on a 21in rim on a crf250 for dt, i no u can run a standard knobby but on real hard pack surfaces i dont think its goin to be tyre of choice. im running a michy x11 trial comp 18 on the rear to, i know its not really vintage but its still dirt track

cheers for that so last question is it worth stayin with a 21 or should i put a 19 front the bloke i got the rear wheel off new can lace me up a 2.15 onto a front hub if i want that way i probably have a better choice of tyre to

Personally I'd stick with the 21", there aren't many guy's running 19's any more.

i was in my local shop today to price and see about the sticky and other tyres and i got a kenda 3.50 18 trials tyre for 40bucks not to much need for them around here wat would one of them be like to run as a front or the 21 is the definate go to stick with

No Steve it has a new tread patern and not avaliable in the sticky compound.

PIRELLI MT 43 TRIALS TYRES 2.75-21 FRONT + 400-18 REAR DIRT any thoughts on whether this combo would be any good rear looks ok wat about the front one for dir trackin

Now I haven't tried too many front tyres on dirt track, but I run a Motoz X-Circuit 21" on my 05 YZ125 and it is brilliant. Particularly in the dry. Way way better than a Dunlop 752 I tried. There's an interesting thread on tyres here on Aussie Dirt Track racing:
