hey guys i have bought 2 dt175s both need help..but the thought was to make one good one out of the 2..and this has been done, but i only have one cdi . i have a 78 mono shock 175 and a 81 mono shock with the box section swing arm i found that the earlier cdi which is the only one i have ,,has an extra red wire more to the point the later bikes stator does not have the red connecting wire..will it run and be ok if the red wire isnt used..i dont want to fry anything or does anyone have a earlier cdi thanks, alternatively i could swap stator/flywheel..but im asuming that the later one is better or more efficeint and the change to the modle has been made for a benifit so id like to keep it ..any info would be great thanks..
