71 TM400 almost there
« on: October 18, 2012, 09:18:48 am »
Been pretty busy moving to NZ and assembling small mountain of parts.... or at least getting the frigging things out of shipping companies clutches,  but hopefully the TM400GP will be up and running very soon for Gerybeards meeting

Very nice Mark. Hope it rides as good as it looks! Were these called a Cyclone in 71, or Apache or Cannibal or some other moniker?

Hey mate, pipe is nickel HPC coated GMC. Just did adaptor this morning so the RH250 airbox can run late model RM85 foam filter assembly, also it is set up for RM125 seat rather than the TM pony pad.

Running RM400 electrics and flywheel weight so that should tame the beast a little. Chinese shocks are a bit of a giggle but at least they don't leak like some of the ones I have had rebuilt by the local experts along the way.
