Cheap RM500 motor
« on: October 16, 2012, 12:37:44 pm »
This looks to be a good buy. It'd make a great basis for a special 'Mary Moates Replica' fitted into an RM250 roller. Looks possible that Eric Gorr might have poked his Dremel into it too.

FOR SALE

1984 - 1985 Suzuki RM250 motor and shrouds.
Motor has a great top end and if you look you can see "Erics" out of SoCal did the engine work. I think it needs tranny work as it shifts, but poorly. I just want it gone, so $250 shipped west of the Mississippi. Add $25 more for east.
OEM shrouds. These are getting tough to come by. They look new but have some minor shelf life type scratches. Still in great shape and not easy to get. $75 shipped. I have other 85 stuff.
Shock is gone
Seat is gone.

Doh....I must learn to turn my brain on. Somehow 250 morphed into 500 in my head......lets blame the painkillers. :-[

Jeez I am glad you cleared that up... I was getting very confused!!!

First I thought I had forgotten how to read, then I thought ... but Suzuki never released a watercooled 500...  :)

At least JohnnyO could see the wood for the trees!!!
