and Aly...............................tell us more??
What can I say, after what's been said over the years about VMX/MX and sunday riding.
The boss worked down the shed doing the prepwork.Packed up the trailer thursday/friday night, not due to excitement +, but due to a 50th in the city Saturday
Landed the road rig at the Darkan track at 7pm Saturday, with all other Sunday satisfied West Aussies around campfires.
Few more Coronas and all was well with the world.
They were telling stories from the shed and generally discussing everything from family issues to the best 2stroke oils.
Being an event coming onto the closing season, things were quiet in the morning and got to sleep in till 7am.
Decided to go with a Rec licence and just have a ride program of pre75,pre85 and juniors(six).
I think the riders with kids will develop the pre85 club and allow it to grow with interest~happy wife happy life.
It was a bit skattie with the lack of rain and only having so much water available. The old Bedford truck did her best at battling around the circuit within the old Speedway Track.
The start line was paced out, being a Rec permit.Though it didnt take long for the riders to be taking on the bike in front to get some action and adrenlin pumping.
The photo's of Christina's in the above link show this well, with all good spirit around. With no injuries and an "all in" at the end of the day.
Steven had a ride on a rm250x water cooled 83 and says its been along time since he's felt the beautiful power on a bike since,he owned a KX250 back in that same era. He'd also have liked to take on the bigger bore bikes with a rm400 at this track.
He can walk today and still has a smile,so that all that counts
cheers a
