RM 125 gearing
« on: September 21, 2012, 09:14:55 am »
I thinking of using 13 - 55 gearing for my RM 125 B is this around the mark for motocross ? And if the bike was to be used for dirt track what would be an acceptable gearing ratio ? Cheers Nipper

I run 13/59....tried other ratios.....13/53....13/57.....59 is a good allround gearing.....MX and DT.
QVMX.....Australia's #1 VMX club......leading the way.

depends on you weight and throttle hold on ability ;D ;D ;D
Me I need 10 : 86 just to get out of the gate. ;)

13/55 only if you are lightweight otherwise at least 13 /57

Thanks for the info guys. This bike is being built primarily for my daughter to ride so the 55 rear sprocket will probably do as that is the largest I can find at the moment. and If I am going to ride it can I get one of those 86 tooth sprockets from you Asasin ?
