Hello
« on: August 01, 2012, 05:02:08 pm »
Hi all, my name is Glenn and I live on the Central Coast NSW. I'm just getting back into things as my boys now have an interest in the sport and I can now indulge my love of old Yamahas. I used to bash around on my SL70 back in the seventies, My nephew still has he bike, and for a little while in the eighties on my DT175. We are in the process of doing up a couple of DT 175's and a DT250. I know that these are not as hard as the IT's but neither am I anymore, I just want to get some Vinduro or the like with my boys and a group of like minded people. I used to be a mechanic but hate cars with a passion but bikes are a different story. catch you all later.

Hi Glenn,
Welcome to the forum. The Vinduro being held this weekend by the Heaven club would be a great place to take a look. It's being held at the Heaven home track just south of Bulahdelah. I was new to the club 18 months ago and found the guys very welcoming and relaxed, all just out for a ride and a good time. From what I hear the event this weekend will be a low key, fun riding, type of event and I am sure there will be some nice old rides to look at.
Cheers
Kenneth S
