Wanted- dual rate short springs for laid over shocks.
« on: July 21, 2012, 01:55:05 pm »
Hey Guy's, I just fitted a set of S&W rear shocks to my RM125B (yeh they are Progressive shocks but I'll paint the collars yellow to make myself feel better lol) and I have fitted a set of RM250B dual rate springs but the lighter spring is too light, would anyone have a pair of short springs from a dual-rate set that they might like to sell?

I don't know what the spring-rate is that I need but the OD of the spings is about 60mm, the wire thickness of the too soft springs is 6.1mm so I guess some springs with a wire thickness of around 6.3mm would be in the ball-park.  The free-length of the spring is 64mm.

I guess if you could advise me of the dimensions of the springs that you want to sell, I'll do the spring-rate calculation from - spring OD x wire thickness x number of active coils.

Thanks
