Look for an Importer that is close to your city / town, as bike transport in Aus can be expensive, unless you are prepared to drive to collect it.
12 months ago I bought a YZ125 from Denver, Colorado. It cost $420 to get it from Denver to Longbeach, California. Then $600 for shipping to Brisbane including all US transfers, Aust customs documentation, and GST. No issues when dealing with Importers that handle the whole exercise for you.
I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

Funny thing is California will issue you title on anything, costs about $600 ..... so a bit like cash strapped governments everywhere, who owns the property is not as important as satisfying the buerecrats. I just had some major dramas out of Japan with some Yahoo purchases.

Greg, there is no need for a title. Ring Darren.

Greg , Ando is 100% correct . Darren Cheney from Firstmilemotorcycles Imports has brought numerous bikes in for me without titles . He has spent a lot of time , money and effort to get it sorted .
In fact l have got one about to be landed , same deal , no title .

Darren organises everything including inland US freight , loading , customs clearance , AQIS and inland Ozzie freight if required . Doesn't get any more straight forward . He has been doing it for years .

Pulling bikes apart and bringing them over in seperate boxes is just not necessary .

His number is 0488 188 827 .

I know Ross I know :'( :'( :'(  :-[ :-[

If it had not been located in the bloody centre of absolutely nowhere in the US :(

I'll probably be kicking myself for months :-\. There is a guy that knows the whereabouts of one in good ole OZ and is chasing it for me but he has been just a little dawdling in his action on the matter. Could you give him rev up for me  :P
