Did any one notice that my advertisement of my stolen bike got bought on ebay? The ebayer that bought is a real .............

If you do can you please tell him that he is a real jerk and a disappointment to the vmx scene.

I better say what happened as a warning to others.

1/ bike gets stolen
2/ advertise that bike is stolen on ebay, it has a buy it now of a 1000
3/ Mark puts in an offer of 1200, which is weird. If you thought it was for sale why would you put an offer higher then the asking amount.
4/ a couple of days later clicks the buy it now button
5/ I write an email asking what do he think he is doing or does he know the where about of my bike? Which would be fantastic!
6/ Gives me negative feedback within a couple of minutes
7/ continues to threaten me about selling him a bike i dont have.
8/ wont remove negative feedback and is just making a hobble situation worse
9/ 2 weeks later still wont retract feedback

Thanks........... you're a real top bloke

Sounds like he's just going out of his way to fark you around.  Mate there are some weirdos on ebay .. I've met a couple over the years in my travels.  The latest one , a few months back, insisted I buy a bike from him that didn't run even though he advertised it as running then told me it ran when I spoke to him.  When I went to pick it up he told me it didn't run and that it was my responsibility to get it running??  I told him that it was up to him to present the bike as advertised not me.

Then he wouldn't let me leave without paying for it and he was getting real weird .... Anyway to cut a long story short I jumped in my car and drove away so he jumped onto the side step of my landcruiser and was screaming at me to pay him the money.  He fell off at around 30 kph down the road and then reported me to the police for a hit and run  ::)  Spent a couple of nights in hospital and if I get a hold of him will spend a couple more.

Anyway, it's all worked out okay now as there were witnesses and the cops couldn't figure out how I ran over him when he was hanging off the side of my car ... if I had of ran over him he wouldn't have got up I can tell you.

But anyway, back to your dilemma, your ebayer sounds like a real tool but a way to avoid that situation (yeah I know .. all too late now) was to put a buy it now of $1M ... nobody would be game to click that.

No word on its where abouts yet??

That's crap, Ned. I hope it does work out for you in the end.
I'm not sure if it's a trend, but after a few years and lost of transactions on eBay, I'm starting to get more and more weirdos and trouble makers.
So much so, that I'm not sure it's worth my while selling on there anymore.

P.S. You're not getting wet feet at your place, are you?  :-\
