Hi there Barry,  I have been using Castrol VMX 80  and the gear box takes 1600ml ,  and if its a 4 speed like mine they are very hard on clutches.

I agree with HL. I have a '81 CR 430, 81 CR 125 and an XC 250 83 - all run on VMX 80. I have spoken to an ex Factory Husky rider and he said in the day they ran the Castrol too.
