Easter Friday HBBB Event Schedule

Gday all, only a few weeks to go, for a Awesome Weekend at HBBB and applying the
 #4 B's, Beer, Bourbon, BBQ's and BS!

The Friday Event Schedule starts off at midday at the Speedway Shed and the opening with Memorabilia and the Awesome Honda Elsinore Bike Display, that Frank DeRose has unbelievably managed to put together, and with many thanks to the generous owners allowing their Pride and Joy to be on show.  Many for the first time in public.

5-6 PM will be the Sign in and Book Sales at Tables in front Semi-Trailer Stage.

Roger Harvey has put together a Brilliant 120 Page, collectable (Scramble Down Under) Book.

15 Times World Speedway/Long Track Champion Ivan Mauger's (Will to Win) and book signing.

Interviews start at 6 pm, with Ronny Dinsdale, Bernie Ryan, Ivan Mauger, Ray Owen, Ray (Goof) Vandenberg, and finishing with the Flying Freckle Jeff Leisk.

Approx 8 pm will have Large Screen Showing of the following:

Hakan Carlquist’s legendary stopping for a beer in front of the Chalet du Monument in the 1988 Belgium Namur 500 GP.

Leisky’s, unbelievable courage 1989 Namur GP’s Race 1 Win and in race 2 being sick literally 4 times during the 45mins and still managed to finish in 4th place, for 2nd Overall.

And the excellent (Spirit of Speed) History of Australian Motorcycling Racing, with special commentary from the likes of Jim Scaysbrook, Rob Seward and rare footage of motorcycling greats and champions like Maurie Quincy, Bert Flood, Max Rathbone, Lindsay Urquhart, Ray Owen and international speedway star Neil Street.

And possibly some other rare Slider Footage being put together for the event.

Les Barfoot has also worked tirelessly putting lots of the things required together, to make this happen, with event organiser can’t keep his pants on with anticipation,
Peter Drakeford it will be an afternoon and a night not to miss, to start what will surely be a fantastic weekend.
