YZ400E 11.8.07

Well here it is mobile on the track ,your turn YZ250H ?. This was early in the day and the rear shock is still not keeping up so i took my YZF400 out for a few laps and knocked myself out right in front of a appreciative crowd on the grandstand. It's hard to pick ya bike up out of the mud when your helmet is full of stars. My daughter informed me that it was a awesome stack, not to be left out she stepped off her CR80 at a great rate of knots. One very worried dad until i confirmed she hadnt suffered anything other than a few bruises but we have both recovered .http://http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb130/yzhilly/?action=view&current=YZ400Efrankston.flv

Mate I'm nearly there.  The only stumbling block has been the rotor.  Somehow it seems I have got it on crooked and it won't go on (or come off) >:(.  I ordered one of those pullers off ebay and I was hoping it would be here for this week-end, but alas it wasn't.  Next week-end she should be a goer.  Clutch seems to work reasonably well.  I will give her a fresh batch of fuel as discussed and she should all be ready to roll.  So this weekend I spent my time wire wheeling parts ready for plating.  Pretty happy with the results and can't wait to get into it next weekend.  Getting a rider going is the first priority of course.
All you need to do is give me some lessons on posting videos !

Hope you recovered from your stack OK mate - pretty funny story though ;D.  I will scan a couple of pages from the manual re timing check for YZ400.  Sorry I've taken this long - work has been a disaster.  You know it's bad when you don't get time to post stuff.

Cheers ;)
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

"My inability to use emoticins in the right context is really getting me down :)
The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.
